Hello! We haven't posted in a while and sadly this will be our last as Cedar Organic. After a lot of debate, questioning, heart searching and turmoil, in September 2022, we made the huge life changing decision to leave our farm tenancy at Rempstone Farm and close Cedar Organic. After 15 months notice, during which time we coped with the huge wrench of selling/rehoming all our farm animals, and a farm sale day, we finally left on 1st January 2024, just over 16 wonderful, mad and hardworking years later. We have loved what we did and we leave knowing we did it well. We are going to miss our own farm and animals. As first generation farmers, having set up in 2007 from scratch with 20 years of savings and a large loan (thank you @triodosuk - couldn't have done it without you!), and a solid knowledge of and commitment to organic farming (working with @soilassociation - thank you!), believing and still believing it to be the best way for people, planet and livestock. We always had to be quick to adapt and learnt so much in the process, from having a farm shop, direct sales, local deliveries (starting before social media was a thing!) and supplying the Pig on the Beach @the_pig_hotels with meat and the much missed Cedar Organic eggs to so many local outlets and @riverford. We have made friends we will always treasure, met and worked with and supplied so many people and small, local businesses along the way - an absolute joy and a pleasure! Thank you to all our customers and support network - too many to mention! As well as farming we have had the privilege of hosting 5 weddings for VERY wonderful people, including our own 2 children, lots of church events and services and lots of parties - happy happy times, always cooking our own meat over fire!
It has taken us a while to post this goodbye, because it has been an emotional time, becoming ready to do this... but we have moved on to a new season in our life which is looking good! See you around! God bless. With love. Andrew and Claire xxx

Aww you guys are the best. I loved every visit we did with Poole Grammar boys. I cuddled lambs and bounced around on the trailer rides. Wishing you both the absolute best of everything on your new lives. You are both very special and the memories made will always be with me. Loads of love xxx

End of an era lovely Farmies….. Cedar Organic the suppliers of the best “double yolkers” ever, the best turkeys ever, the best chickens ever (in turn providing the best chicken dish eaten at “the Pig”) ever and the best beef ever and I could go on! What a wonderful legacy…. Time for new adventures that I’m sure will deliver more “best evers” in what ever you focus your talents on…..
